Trying to reply and PM for classified but I'm getting a permissions issue. Am I missing a step after after joining the welcome/introducing myself?
Thank you in advance for the help.

Hey everyone! I already posted a new thread in the new member area but I figure I'd post here too. A couple months ago I listed my 2000 Dodge Viper GTS for sale at a local high-end dealership under consignment because I'm looking to get into something newer. And I'd like something more daily driven. At the time my other half had a 2015 Wrangler and I had a 2023 4Runner. Before the Viper I had a 2015 C7 Z06. And about a month ago I was almost dead set on a C8 Corvette and had a deposit placed at a local dealership for a custom order C8 even though I had test driven a Cayman GTS 4.0.
She was looking at trading her Wrangler in for a Bronco Sport (~$40k) and I saw a Porsche Macan at the local dealership being sold under consignment for $38k. It was a 2020 with 21k miles all black with red leather. I encouraged her to test drive it and we were both absolutely blown away by the interior quality and ride and power. Even though it's a base Macan it is still pretty quick and definitely quicker than her Wrangler and more than what she was looking for anyways. We ended up purchasing for $37k. Since owning it every time I got in my 4Runner I was just disappointed. A few weeks later I found a 2020 Cayenne Coupe CPO for the same price I paid for my 4Runner. Well, long story short I traded my 4Runner in for the Cayenne and couldn't be happier. And since then I cancelled my order at Chevy for the C8 and have test driven a 991.2 C4S and a 992 C2S. I am now close to being in the market for a 911. Once the Viper sells I'll be more serious about my search.
Just wanted to share a little story of how I entered the Porsche community. Thanks for taking the time to read, and I'm very excited to, hopefully soon, add a third member to the Porsche garage!
