Cars & Coffee Taunton, MA
Location: Starbucks Parking Lot, Taunton, MA (65 H Taunton Depot Drive, Taunton, MA 02780)
Date: Every other Sunday (Weather Permitting) Starting May 15
Time: 9:00 AM until whenever
Location Description: The location is perfect for this type of get together. It's a big parking lot, traffic is minimal and the few times we have met there we have had bystanders just stop to talk and look at the cars. If we get a big draw of cars we can always park at the Circuit City parking lot across the street which has a huge lot and no traffic.
Date Description: Sunday morning traffic is very light and I've found it to be the best time to take the car out for a drive other than midday on a weekday. This get together is an excuse to take the car out and enjoy it and then catch up with fellow car nuts. Feel free to extend the invitation to friends, family and other car nuts (doesn't matter what make). Preference is to keep things low key so we don't attract unwanted attention.
I should note that if there's a PCA show or other local car event many of us probably won't make it, this get together is to fill in the void between the big shows.
Regarding the weather, I personally don't find driving in the rain all that much fun and I think most everyone here feels the same way. This is also an outdoor venue so rain would put a "damper" on things thus if it's raining assume no one is going. If there's enough interest we can always meet the following Sunday.
Time Description: I personally don't mind arriving even earlier on a Sunday since I'm usually up early but 9:00 AM seems to be popular with most. If anyone feels like getting there earlier just put up a post so others know ahead of time.

Now I just need to hound Rick to get my car done by tomorrow evening. Full coverage clear bra is being installed and I'm looking forward to driving the car on the highway without worrying about rock chips.

If it's wet I'm going to take my DD (Speed3). If it's dry the Spyder is going. I believe Dino is also going to go no matter what unless it's pouring. I'll pm you my mobile number, feel free to give me a call to confirm if we are going.

As mentioned above, I'm planning on going unless it's pouring. If it's dry out I'll take a fun car. If the weather is damp I'll take a daily driver.
Best regards,
Dino

I am not going to be able to make it on Sunday I will be going with my Father in law to check out a 1995 993 cabriolet. He has been searching for one for a while now and this may be the right car! We'll know for sure tomorrow! I will try to make the next sunday meet!

Ryan no problem at all missing the gtg and good luck with the inspection. If your FIL buys the car I hope he can bring it to the next GTG!
Good time today as always. I regret that I didn't bring the Spyder, it was raining when I left but perfect on the drive home.
Chris thank you for the ride in the GT3, it is an incredible car and very nicely optioned! Raw yet refined enough to be a daily driver. Very nice. Just sent you a PM, tech question about plating.
Rob loved the Cayman R and I'm looking forward to seeing it again.
Dino and Jill as always it is great chatting with you and catching up.
Looking forward to the next GTG

Great to see Dino, Jill and Afshin again. Also to meet Rob. Love that Cayman R.
Remember guys, these things are not called "bring your backup car and coffee". Let's see those Porsches!
