I know that I'm stuck way out in the countryside, in Welland, [g],but the UCR meeting would be easier to attend than Yorkdale. Took me ~ 80 mins to make the Spring Launch on 27 April. Its the thought of at least 90 mins driving home after the get together that's no fun, although the traffic
ought to be lighter.
I'll see how your suggestion works out, but tomorrow is too short on notice.
Hope you all have a good time; will look for a report on this site !!
Take care,

Hi, My headlight dip switch is doing exactly as everyone describes. ie. hi-beam comes on after a bump and must be held down for low beams to stay on. If on hi beam they cancel out when turn signal is used then go back to hi beam after the turn. I have ordered a new switch from Pelican and was going to install it this weekend but after reading your post about needing a relay to keep from burning up the switch again, I think I'll wait to get the relay/fuse. I am a fairly new owner of a 1979 911SC with 83K, and not all that familiar with all the quirks of this car. I basically undestand how to swap out the turn signal/hi beam switch but can you give some more precise instructions on the relay install. Also please tell me where to find the pictures of this fix. (also new to Rennlist) Many Thanks for your help. Jim.
