Hey Arnaud,
I Haven't been around the GTGs so I haven't seen you for a while. hope you are well . can you text me your telephone @ 416 821 6321 so I can call you or call me if you have a minute. I need a little bit of advise. thanks Paul
Hey Arnaud:
How have you been? I haven't been out to the GTGs with work and then I was in Europe for a couple of months but I am going to try and get out soon. I know that you were a big fan of Henry at Refined Motor Sports and I was thinking of going there to get an oil change on my 993tt. He still works there but not on Saturdays. Do you know anything about Clint? He works alongside Henry and does work on Saturdays.
Glenn
P.S. How is the new 997 working out for you? Have you taken it to the track, too?
Salut Arnaud, Sergio here. Might you be able to send any contact info or advert on that one owner '84 3.2 with records that you mentioned was in Ottawa at Mark Motors. I can't seen to find it on the web. Was it a private sale? Thanks, SB
Hi Glenn,
I saw it, yes. But I am trying not to look in the 993 direction. 993's are too expensive for me to track (purchase cost, maintenance, repairs,...), ask me how I know... I have set my budget to CAD 20K for a track car. In case of a total loss, I still would get CAD 8K for the wreck meaning losing only CAD 12K and I am comfortable with that. Therefore the 911 3.2 is spot on for the task. Moreover, it does not have ABS, power steering, ABD,... what it has is a dynosaure suspension. This will teach me how to drive slow and concentrate on the lines at the track rather than speed (the 993 is a devil and begs you to press the loud pedal more all the time whereas the 3.2 "tells" you to hold it).
To be continued...
Cheers,
Arnaud
