Newb here, but a long time lurker...

Deposit taken, lock in 1/31 and delivery late April/Early May
My must haves were Air suspension/PASM, Pano roof, dimming mirrors, heated sports seats, sport exhaust, painted side blades, 20" wheels, Bose, Navi and Apple Play
My wish list was PDLS w/LED headlights, vented seats and cargo management system

When I built an S with those options (choosing Preferred Package Plus to get more for less) I was knee deep in Turbo territory and over budget but when I built a GTS, with much of my must haves as standard, I could add PDLS w/LED headlights and come in at budget .. and get more power/torque, better brakes, sport tuned suspension and the GTS sport body package. I'm not an Alcantara fan so I chose standard GTS leather to get the GTS logo's on the headrests .. vented seats would have required 18-way sport seats which I didn't need or want so I ditched venting. The best part was choosing paint .. I was going Saphire Blue, then Silver, then just plain White until my sales guy told me to go look at a white Cayman S on the showroom floor in Carrera White Metallic .. OMG, looks like standard white from a distance until you get close and then you see the sparkle .. like it's dusted in fine sugar. SOLD! ... BTW, if you haven't seen the cargo management system, check out this video, for $380, it's a bargain.

Yes, but they're not sport seats and wouldn't have the GTS logo on them ... both a show stopper for me.

Quick update .. GTS arrived at the dealer 4/19 and we picked it up the following day. 400 miles and exceeding expectations ...

Now that the cars have been hitting the dealers. The 14 ways and 18 ways both come with the GTS logo on the headrests.

Yep, saw that. I can say .. that if I'd know that the GTS logo's were on all the seat choices from the beginning, after sitting in the 18 way sport seats they didn't feel or fit right so I'd have gone with the 8 way sport seats anyway and they are .. by a long shot, the best sport seats I've ever had.

Another cool option is the sport mirrors. They have LEDs at their edges that flash when signaling, fold electrically and look great.

Yet another conscious decision to not get those after seeing an all white Macan with them ... it's a good thing I was ordering my own car, eh?

Well yes, of course. Just because I like them doesn't mean you will. I posted re them mainly to let people know they fold electrically, which may have kept people from ordering them if they didn't know. The sport mirrors on my 911 don't, and I assumed they didn't fold on the Macan, either.

Car looks great. Personally on white I like the contrast of having the side blades in black or in Carbon fiber but thats just my opinion.

Got the Sport Design mirrors on my wife's Macan GTS and I think they look great.

Yes, exactly, and thanks for the compliment. If I had ordered a darker color .. Saphire, Volcano, Midnight ... then I probably would have ordered them .. but on white and silver, the black accents on the mirrors look best IMHO.

I pulled a California U turn in front of the post office yesterday and all I can say is WOW! The turning radius on this car is phenomenal .. it darn near spins on it's rear tires ....
