Looking for a cell phone holder for my 2015 Macan S.

I do use a RENNLINE in my 997 4S, but not sure if I like the RENNLINE one for the Macan, the location seems a bit off in my opinion.

What are you guys using in your Macans? I am looking for a solid mount which I do not need to glue on the dash, don't' like the cheap Amazon options.

Let me know what you are using, maybe with a picture?

Thanks in advance.

Having tried multiple holders, I'm very happy with this one. I know you said no Amazon, but this checks all the boxes.

Thanks very much.

How exactly does this install? Is it mounted to the vent? And is it pretty solid once attached?

Maybe a close up picture how it installs?

many thanks in advance and merry Christmas!

I have the Rennline and I like the location. It's out of the way, visible, and off the dash and vents. Easy install, stays tight.

It hooks onto a vent flap and you twist the **** to tighten the tension. Click on the Amazon link. The product description has an animation showing how it works. I wouldn't have recommended it if it wasn't solid.

Thanks.

You have yours on the driver or passenger side.

It is not in the way regarding legroom on either side?

I ended up going with a proclip which attaches to the edge of the center console. If you go to their website https://www.proclipusa.com/collectio...15?finder=true , it’s a two part process where you choose the attachment and then the phone holder. I ended up MacGyvering one of their phone holders so I could have it charge as well as hook up to the CarPlay via the USB-C cable without having to manually plug it in each time.

Thansk.

I did look at the ProClip and it looks like a very feasible option

I’ve been using a Kenu Airframe+ for 8 years in the vent mount. I prefer to have the phone same level as the PCM screen. No issues with it falling or affecting the vent blades: https://www.kenu.com/products/airframe-plus

I used the ProClip initially on my 23 GTS but became annoyed with it blocking the passenger side controls. Switched to the Nine Volt MagSafe unit, added MagSafe case to my Samsung S25 and I've been very happy since. Blocks nothing, looks OEM, and charges reliably.

Which one did you get and where did you mount?

Care to share a picture?

Many thanks.

Passenger side. The thick-thighed GF has plenty of knee room. I would not want it on the driver side as it would be harder to see and slightly block the temp display/control for HVAC.

Not sure if you are asking about the ProClip or the Nine Volt?

Anyway, for ProClip I used their Right Console Mount for Porsche Macan and their Mighty Mount Wireless Charging Phone Holder
Nine Volt is Wireless Charger with MagSafe for Apple iPhone for Porsche Macan 2022+
