Default Windshield wiper fluid

How does one determine the liquid level in the windshield cleaning fluid tank (besides waiting for the electronics to display a low fluid warning)? When re-filling do you just keep filling until the fluid spills out the top? '22 GTS.

I can usually hear the sound of the fillup change as it nears full level but I've definitely filled until spillover a few times, no harm in that.

It doesn't have one of those handy clear necks like other cars but perhaps shining a penlight in the cowl area can help.

Fill it until it is full.

I pour water in first, then add the Porsche concentrate in the little bottles. Of which I carry two on road trips.
I've learned over the years how much water before it overflows.

Another good practice that I started with each washer fluid fill up is to stick a fine steel pick into the washer nozzles to not only keep them clear but placing some downward pressure on them to ensure that they actually hit the windshield instead of spraying over it and wasting fluid. There's a thread somewhere that had a direct oe swap to a different Audi version that actually sprayed in a mist versus the jets on the Macan.

One caution. If you want the nozzles to never get stuck, use only the Porsche concentrate with water. Do not mix with other detergents, which clog the nozzles. BTDT.
Yes, it's expensive. Don't know what else to expect from a Porsche.

I use the $3.99 "all season freeze protection" jug of blue stuff at the gas station. All good.

Yes. Ordered some from Suncoast. This stuff also keeps my wipers from chattering. BTW, my tank has a black baffle close to the top which blocks any view of fluid levels.

Same here. I use the cheap stuff from Walmart. Never had any problems.

Years ago went cheap once and added 4 drops of car wash.
Was ok till dealer added the Porsche stuff, then clogged.

Nothing wrong with cheap stuff by itself.
