Default PIWIS T6PT3G needed

Does anyone have one I can borrow or rent for a couple days in the SoCal area please?
I have a PIWIS3 software machine and the VAS6154 but it's a poor combination as the VAS keeps dropping connection and is not letting me code new installed equipment on my Macan.
Just want to borrow a T6 if possible to see if it's any better then order one for myself.
Thanks

I am not in SoCal, so I likely can't help directly with this issue, but I just ordered a piwis system and I'm looking forward to connecting with folks who are familiar with the system so that I don't waste too much time getting familiar. Then I am hoping that we can all start a thread to document usage and specific updates and modifications.

I've been playing around with it for the last week or so myself. Found different ways for coding and clearing faults and stuff.
Happy to start a thread on lessons learnt.
First experience from me is the VAS clones are a piece of crap. Need a more reliable system that connects to OBD. The T6 is very pricey considering I've just paid for the PIWIS too.

Ebay has 7-day rental for about 100 dollars. That would be the easiest way to borrow.

I already tried that service. The guy offering the rental is very good and answers questions quickly, but it's still the VAS6154 that they are using and it's equally as unreliable. No one is offering the T6 as a rental yet.

Maybe you just have a bad VAS?

Could be, but it does connect to the car and does find the faults and the various modules, but it's just not completing any coding tasks.
I may even try buying a more powerful laptop with 16g RAM and i7 processor. Could be that my laptop only meets the minimum ram requirements and doesnt give the software the power it needs.

I have a PIWIS III and also interested in doing some coding. I want to make it so the instrument gauges light up during the day.....On my 981 Cayman, I can change the dials to "weiss (white)" option and then they light up (but needles do not, ugh). I can't find a similar way on my 2023 Macan to do the same....

To OP, I have the correct interface, but in SF Bay Area....If you find yourself in the area, happy to let you use mine...

Were you in Engineering Mode when coding?

VAS is old and quirky, VNCI or T6PT3G is the way to go. Nowhere close to you alas

I need some help configuring T6PT3G.

I got the message in the picture below when I click on Porsche. What do they mean by ORIGINAL SOFTWARE? PIWIS is installed and has been working before on the old VAS6154.

What do I need to do?

I believe you need to install the driver as mentioned in the screen you attached

I found the problem.

You need an internet connection for the dropdown to work to get the driver.

Sorry I didn't even think that you didn't have an internet connection. Good job, GL
