Here we go, back in a Porsche!
Kinda. It's the wife's car.
I've had Porsches, 964, 996 cab, 997.2, 991.1S, 981S (all properly equipped with three pedals) and a first gen Panamera S (I don't know the code). The wife, never.
She had a BMW X5, which I was driving (technically stopped at a light) when it dropped a valve. Fixed under warranty, but she was fed up at that point (lots of issues) and so last week she traded it in on a '22 Macan S in Miami Blue. She's not a forum girl, but I'm sure you'll see it on Facebook. LOL, mjb does not do FB.
I actually have not driven the car yet, although I have ridden in it several times. It's nice. Knowing that Porsches tend to be rather reliable and robust, I'm hoping that this one will prove to be problem-free. It's a one-owner from Florida in Miami Blue, black interior. One of the fobs is painted red. Why? Why would you do that instead of matching the car's color? And yes, the paint is chipping off now, which makes me think that I'd be better off buying her a fob cover rather than ordering a new key in MB. The other fob is purple, but it's not chipped. I don't get it.
You get bonus points if you can identify the black car, barely visible. Hint: it's black.

Congrats! The key fob covers can be an easy fix. I bought one on Amazon for about $20. Gloss black to match the exterior. If installed carefully and correctly, it looks and fits like OEM. A year later, it's in great shape. You can probably find one in Miami Blue or at least a more appropriate color.
