Took my '23 Macan S in for 10k service, and a couple of warranty items (trunk not closing reliably with all doors and windows closed (I think closing pressure needs to be adjusted), and a fingerprint under the touch glass on the center console). They're also replacing the AC Compressor due to an intermittent whining noise that I asked them to investigate.
Got a Base Macan loaner (with a lot of options... Premium, PDLS, Adjustable normal suspension, surround view... sticker $78k), but man do I miss my S! The base is okay... but compared to my S it's just not the same car. Mine is supposed to be done tomorrow, and tomorrow can't come soon enough!
Apparently, replacing the compressor is a pretty big job, as it's taking almost a week (including 2 days waiting on the part). I guess here's where we'll see how good the dealer's service techs are!

No, they said they were able to remove the fingerprint.
Mine came with a large scratch in the middle console but I didn't want them to take everything apart and replace it. Sometimes they damage more replacing certain parts than what you get for. Also regarding the trunk: I had the same issue but played a little with the adjustment screws on both sides and now it works flawless. The only problem i have now is that the side mirrors sometimes don't fold when I lock through the trunk gate. I hope my AC doesn't start to do weird stuff.

I think it's a pretty good crew here. I've seen a few GT3's, and even a real '55 Spyder in the shop there.
Unfortunately, the compressor they got is for a 4 cylinder engine, so they've had to re-order it... from Germany. Found out today it could be 3 weeks out (worst case). Rather than have them put everything back together, then take it apart again when the part arrives, I think I'll just let them keep it. They flagged the part "car down" to expedite fulfillment. We'll see.
FWIW, my AC/Heat still worked just fine, but would make an intermittent whining noise at idle. I thought it was an in-dash recirculation fan, but it turned out to be the compressor.
If it's like the Touareg the hatch is hydraulic and is buried under the rear left passenger seat. Took a while to get out. Doesn't fail very often as it's a closed circuit and you should be able to see the hydraulic fluid level.

Sorry, my post was a little confusing. The hatch works fine, it just doesn't close all the way sometimes when the doors are closed. I'm guessing the closing force needs to be adjusted to reliably close.
The height and I believe lowering can be adjusted. Please check the manual or youtube I'm sure has a take on it. GL!

I'm a manual reader, and have read the entirety of the digital manual and the hardcopy manual. The rear hatch closing force is not user adjustable. When all windows and doors are closed, the trunk closes there is a moment where there is a positive air pocket inside the car that causes the rear hatch's pinch protection to activate, and it doesn't latch completely. If a door is open, or the sunroof open, or a window cracked, the rear hatch closes fully every time.
I do remember futzing with the latch adjustment and that fixed it. I'll try and find the Touareg thread I posted it. Who knows it might help.
Sorry that post dealt with the glass hatch (sadly not present in the Macan) not the hatch itself. But for amusement, I'm including a link to it. Please bear in mind this Touareg Forum is for folks in the UK and Australia, thus the discussion gets hijacked with typical British or Ozzie humor. In comment #14 I include a couple of pics showing latching adjustments whilst fending off the "Chairman's" et al incessant interference in the discussion.
Get my '23 S back tomorrow, and can't wait! I have missed the power and luxury, and maybe most of all, the sound (sport exhaust)! Compressor from Germany arrived in a week's time (vs. the worst-case of 3 weeks).
