All Season Tires - Yokohama or Michelin or Pirelli

I seem to have the same tire experience with Porsches. They come new with Pirellis, I find myself quite happy with them but hear others complain and so replace them with Michelins after they've worn. I'll do the same when the original Pirellis wear out on the 23 GTS but I'm going to stick with the Pirelli winters I'm using for the cold part of the year or go with Nokians if fitment and handling checks out. The Pirelli winters have a eally great balance between handling and traction.

In looking at the Conti DWS 06 PLUS tires for the Macan, it appears Tire Rack does not recommend them for our car due to a speed rating difference between the fronts; 265/45 R20 (Y-rated, 186mph) and the rears; 295/40 R20 (W-rated, 168mph).
That said, I still think I will go with them, when it comes time to replace the Pirellis currently mounted, which should be fairly soon.

We have put 20k plus miles on Pirelli Scorpion (21 inch) and it has been fine in wet weather. The car came with Pirelli P Zero tires which were annoyingly noisy. The Scorpion also has the annoying tire drone at freeway speeds, which is why they need to go. They will be replaced with Michelin before next winter. I love the DWS 06 but I have not found them in the correct sizes.

Ended up getting a nail in my Scorpion Zero All-Season Plus (good riddance) and ordered a set of DWS06+ from Tire Rack over the weekend. Received a call from Tire Rack this morning and they needed me to verbally acknowledge that the front and rear tires have a different speed rating before they would ship. I didn't think this would be an issue, but I called my installer and they said that even though it was irrelevant for a Macan (speed rating of front was 168MPH, rear was 186MPH), they could not install tires with different speed ratings due to liability concerns.
Called Tire Rack back and they recommended the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 A/S, which is the tire I would recommend to others based on reviews if the Contis are not an option, HOWEVER for my own car I decided to roll the dice and try out the newish Falken Azenis FK 460 A/S as they were $1050 as opposed to $1620 for the Michelins.
As far as I can tell from tests and reviews, the main compromise on the Falkens vs the Michelin PS4 A/S and the Conti DWS06+ is in snow, and considering I never see snow I figured why not give it a shot. There's a dedicated FK 460A/S thread so I'll post any future updates there so to not derail this thread.
