Default Which Extended Warranty Service

Trying to decide on an extended warranty for my 2019 Macan S with 49,500 miles. Have heard good things about Fidelity/Century and then the Google search rates Endurance as the best. Holy **** on the costs, but based on past experience with not just Porsches, the repair costs do add up quickly if the wrong thing breaks.

Thanks!

I would not suggest any warranty company that runs commercials on TV or spam calls people (Endurance, Car Shield...). Have you reached out for rates from our other provider Freedom Warranty? We see just as high claim payouts with our Freedom Warranty customers as our Fidelity customers, and Freedom offers better pricing on vehicles beyond 35K miles,... that is when Fidelity can get a little pricy. You can reach me at tgibson@highline-autos.com or (855) 924-1333 if you have any questions or would like to see pricing and an example contract from our warranty providers.

Endurance is NOT the best. You have to be careful how you interpret Google search results. They are coming up as top because it's a sponsored search result.

I am well aware of that, very cautious of what's on the internet. Endurance pricing similar to Century. Will make some more calls.

Fidelity Platinum is outstanding. Had several policies with various Porsches. Can't recommend them enough.

Fidelity on my Macan Turbo with 70k miles was outrageously priced. The cheapest platinum policy for just 1 year was like $5k.

I went with Freedom through the forum sponsor here, Highline Autos.

Which ever warranty you decide on, MAKE SURE IT COVERS PDK TRANSMISSIONS. Read the fine print. Some do not cover them.

For a new '23 S, I got the Porsche warranty includes "Performance Plus" - which includes wear and tear on hoses, belts, brake pad + rotor replacement- 6 yr / 72k miles. So warranty + wear and tear. I think you can buy it as long as current warranty not expired....it was around $5K but call around and get some quotes from various Porsche dealers.

Is the Freedom Warranty exclusionary?

Freedom Warranty has different levels of coverage, but yes their highest tier of coverage is an exclusionary coverage.
