Default 2017 MACAN GTS- is this a good deal?

Hi All, I am locking at this GTS this weekend, car is sold by the original owner. This Rennlist community has always helped me in the past when buying a used car hence asking you all again. Please give me your honest opinion. Original Window sticker is attached below.
- one owner, sold by Original owner
- Black/red interior
- 77,000 miles
- $40 asking price
- Porsche transferable extended warranty through 1/1/2024 (or 85k)
- He has all maintenance records, all done at the dealership
- Transfer case replaced under warranty.
- valve cover replied at 75k
- no service records on timing cover bolts
- car looks very clean

Note: I will definitely do a PPI before buying, I really want 2019+ model but the prices are out of reach for GTS and Turbo hence considering this. There are less mileage 2017/18 GTS for the same or little more money online (far far away), but this is the only private party (and local) with maintenance history (warranty) I could find right now. 77k miles is kind of lot, I drive a lot so soon I will it 100k miles.

Price too high. Lower miles units are listed on Cargurus for less money.

50% off MSRP for a 6 yr old moderately high mileage car is not a deal. I would offer $30k and walk if the seller doesn’t agree.

You are looking at a large 80K service visit coming up soon and you didn't mention the brakes, I wouldn't consider a GTS without 18 way seats, patience is the name of the game here unless you really want JBM/garnet. My 2 cents.

On the surface…it looks good. Reason: 1-owner, warranty, full and complete records.

A little high? Maybe. I’m sure you can find something less expensive. But, try to find one that has this level of detailed history. I like the idea of minimizing surprises after the sale.

GL!

I did an extended search on all platforms. Most of the hot deals can be found in dealerships far far away, some of them are little sketchy, and small dealers who have low consumer ratings etc. The cars in mid to high 30s also have high mileages with unknown service history etc. I prefer to buy either from an owner or reputable dealer you know.
We test drove a 2007 Macan GTS white/black at a local BMW dealership, price was $40,800 with 76k miles. The dealership has done close to $4000 safety services: new front brakes, all four tires and few other stuff. There is also a 2017 python green GTS with 52k miles for $50k . I think cars are expansive here in CA .. Lol.
Anyway thanks for the feedback all, I too think the price of the car in question is little too high.

Porsche locator shows 9- 2017 GTS across USA with prices from 36K to 77K. The warranty won't do you much good on this vehicle since you will blow by it in 2 months or so. Auction prices are attached but this does not show original MSRP of vehicles or auction fees, transportation, etc. 77K miler in 4.6/5 condition went through for $32,600. You can easily add $1500 to wholesale price before any dealer markup. I had 18 Macan S and had TCC repair which was covered under warranty. Car was sold to upgrade to 22 Macan S. The engine changed in 2019.

Price on this one is full retail but sure get Carfax and PPI done with attention to upcoming next maintenance, brakes, and any oil leaks. Remainder of warranty on transfer case replacement?? Ask dealer on any TCC warranty updates?
