I believe Porsche offers the "whole screen" feature on the newer cars with PCM6.

All Macans from 2019 equipped with PCM5 system, which has 10.1" wide screen, allow 16:9 display ratio at maximum of 1920x720 resolution HD mode.
on 2022, Macan has made some major interior update :
The parts you touch the most – the steering wheel, gearshift, and center console – have been improved for the 2022 iteration of the Porsche Macan. The most notable change is the new center console, which features haptic elements in lieu of traditional buttons. This allows for a cleaner appearance without sacrificing functionality. The 2022 Macan also sees upgrades to the infotainment system. The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) screen now measures 10.9 inches (0.8 inches larger than last year) and features voice control. The new steering wheel design is derived from the legendary 911, and, when coupled with the reworked gear shifter and center console, make for an interior that’s both more stylish and more ergonomic. As always, a wide array of options are available to upgrade and personalize the interior of your new Porsche Macan.
However, it is very disappointing that PCM still using PCM5 not PCM6 on other model like 2022 Cayenne, 992, Panamera and Taycan
So that CarPlay can still only be displayed on 2/3 of the screen at 800x600 resolution with low DPI setting which made the icon even smaller which is hard to operate
Sadly, the arrow next to the CarPlay won't allow you to extend the CarPlay view to full screen Mode, so the CarPlay still stay as 800x600 size. It is kind of wast on the 10.9" wide screen which suppose to have 16:9 HD 1920x720 resolution and bigger icon size.
Obviously, Porsche has recognised the issue and fixed that on PCM6 system which only available on 2022 Cayenne, Panamera, 992 and Taycan, just not for Macan.

And other downside is that Android auto was not enabled for all Macan since 2016 PCM4, then of course no Android auto on PCM5 either.
That problem has also been fixed on PCM6

However, we can now make your Macan's CarPlay to utilise the HD wide screen even on PCM5 and also have Android auto enabled as well.

However the normal Full screen is still not using the entire screen display and fully utilise the HD screen size. As you can see the icon size stay the same as 2/3 screen which is still small not easy to operate even on full screen
So we also made the Full HD whole screen which is on 1920x720 resolution with higher DPI setting so that icon size is normal now

Now even Macan is still using PCM5, but we still can get 1920x720 resolution with larger icon just like PCM6 on other models such as Cayenne, Panamera, 992 and Taycan
More importantly, it also can support the latest Android auto coolwalk on this HD mode
So now, even you have 2022 or 2023 Macan you can have all features that PCM6 have on Porsche's other model.
Luckily it all can be done remotely with simple software installation over internet. Porsche does have very restricted warranty policies that is why we have made our mod very unique way. The mod on just application level which will be fully invisible to any dealers diagnostic tool.
All you need to have:
1. Computer
2. USB Ethernet adapter
3. Ethernet cable
4. USB flash drive
5. USB A to C adapter as your car has usb-c ports
Then we can take care the rest to do all remotely for you to get your Macan upgraded
Just installed the basic android car mod, works flawless!!! If your Macan does not comes with Android, this is the perfect solution. Thinking to upgrade to full screen mod !!

I did the Innovative Soft mod to my 2022 Macan...and used a MacAir 11. As previously mentioned, with the Mac you'll need to use a virtual machine inside iOS such as Parallels and to use that you'll need a licensed version of Windows OS and a couple of Apple adaptors (IIRC, I needed a Thunderbolt to ethernet cable). I was able to do the mod since I had all the requirements plus Raymond was very knowledgeable on my needs and most importantly he was extremely patient. So after saying all this, I got it done but If I had to do this over I'd borrow a WinOS laptop,
I had the wholescreen android auto activated on my 2023 Macan T recently. It is GREAT! InnovativeSoft has the BEST customer service. I wholeheartedly recommend their product.
