hi, looking to lease a new Macan... I know they aren't charging ADMs on these.. hoping a discount off MSRP. anyone have any experience as far as discounts on a Macan? hoping for 5% off.. that sound reasonable? TIA
I'd manage my expectations on a discount. I did a decent amount of searching back when we ordered Mrs. Malibu's Macan S in August and MSRP was the best we could do. Market may be a tad different now w/ interest rates the way they are currently. One thing to watch for is that a lot of dealers won't sell out of market for fear of losing future allocations. Although we did luck out and roll with an out of market dealer, it seemed to be the exception not the rule and they are a fairly large dealer/group of dealerships. Also expect a MF bump (like .00080) if you lease and/or don't bring your own financing. Although admittedly, we kinda of have a tacit agreement that some of the add-ons may bump me up the GT3 list. PM me if you want and I'll send you our SA's contact. Process was extremely smooth. Had the car shipped to our door in covered transport. No hassle at all and quite honestly my time is more valuable than any discount I'll get on a car.
From what I've read here there, depending on the dealer and your area, a base car may be your shot at a small discount. I doubt any break on a GTS, probably not even an S.
May find a small discount on an in stock Macan - Porsche Lease rates are really high - last May I leased a 2022 Macan S while I waited on my 2023 GTS order - the money factor at the dealers buy rate was 0.31 which equated to a 7.44% interest rate - when my GTS came in I asked about lease money factor an the dealer told me their buy rate was 0.38 which equated to 9.12% - I passed on that!
Definitely not something I'd expect. I don't think we've reached a point where new cars are sitting on dealer lots for very long, but it's worth a shot.
I think you can get a small discount . 3-5 % max
plenty of Macan base allocations have been thrown at dealers recently and smart dealers will discount to keep inventory moving
Just bought a 2021 demo Macan base. No discount and no ADM of any kind, although the asking price was fair for how it was optioned with very low miles and CPO.

I gotta think that the money factor interest rate will be at 10% soon. Makes no sense to lease at this point unless you can write off the interest.
I would look for a dealer who has a lot of Macans sitting on the lot. They pay insurance every month it sits there so if they don't see it moving they'll dump it.

That's basically where we were/are. Needed a car. Wife like the Macan S. Got an allocation. I'll eat the interest rate (and the markup) to get pushed up the GT3 list. We also drive 80-90% for work so the car kinda pays for itself in write-offs.
My local dealer is selling two with 3% discounts. Both 2022's though so you may be able to haggle. Both these cars had $5K ADM's back in August/September. A month later the ADM was gone. Now they are 3% off. I don't care for either spec, but it may fit someone else's fancy.
I was talking to my SA about Macans today, and he has an open 2023 GTS allocation at MSRP. Im waiting for my Taycan slot, but I wanted to mention this here in case someone is looking.
You can probably score a small discount on base models but I just hope you know Porsche lease offers are never good value. Better off financing or buying outright.
The local dealer has two base models on the lot for immediate sale at MSRP. I got the feeling he might be open to a small discount on those. As to an S or a GTS, they're sold as soon as an allocation opens up at no discount. Local sales at MSRP, out of towners get an ADM.
OBTW, they had two GT3 Touring, and a Sport Classic tucked away in the back. All were sold awaiting delivery.
