Default VIN Decoder?

Hi all, I was wondering if there is a VIN decoder available. I have received my VIN, as my car was completed last Friday. I want to make sure it has the Bose system. Any help is greatly appreciated!

VIN is: WP1AG2A50PLB35234

Default Vin Decoder: vinanalytics.com

I was able to get a build and option sheet for my VIN at vinanalytics.com. It was $12.95. I then was able to use a free site: https://www.kindel.com/porsche/options/ to translate more completely what the option codes mean. My build sheet shows that I have the Bose Surround Sound System. Curiously, it also says I have an electrically adjustable steering column with memory. I can’t imagine that is true…..although I do have the 18-way seats which were stopped for a while. Maybe having 18-way seats somehow required the electric steering column. Good luck

I don't know about a decoder, but once I got my VIN I was able to get an image of my window sticker. Pretty sure it was through the My Porsche app.

This is the way . vinanalytics.com can decode any Porsche down to all their details.

Tried doing that but after entering the VIN it requires proof of ownership which I don't have since I don't have the car yet.

Question myporsche vs vinanalytics

Interesting…..I was able to get access to my Macan S in MyPorsche because, although not delivered (it is on the Cygnus Leader) their system shows me as the buyer. The details about my Macan S in MyPorsche are not as complete as those on the build sheet I purchased ($12.95) from vinanalytics.com. An example is that MyPorsche does not say whether I have an electric steering column or a manual one. Vinanalytics.com’s build sheet shows that my Macan S does have an electric steering column with the memory feature. That leads me to question the accuracy of that given all the reports. But it is true that my Macan S is fitted with the “Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) with Memory Package), so maybe I got lucky with the electric steering column feature. I will know in a month or so……🤞

That's odd. I got the window sticker before I got the car. I don't remember where it was in the process, but I think the car was on the boat by then. Maybe because my name was tagged on the VIN I was able to do it.

When was your build date? Did you receive compensation for the omission of the electric steering column or get a notice about that?

The Vinanalytics report is correct, your report/build likely has the following option code on it:
0RZ W/O EL. STEERING COLUMN LOCK

it basically will supersede option code 2C4.

Any friendly Porsche dealer can pull your build sheet and email it to you using your VIN. This is the easiest way to find an original options list.
