That would be a software update, not sure if mr12volt engineers are looking at this issue from the same perspective. Not being able to reproduce an issue is always a bottleneck.

Is your external box below the steering column? Have you ever had it in a different place?

It's up above the gas pedal at the moment. (I'm assuming I'd have to open the box up and hack it.)

I have it in the same spot. I am wondering if moving it to the passenger side next to the air filter will help. I may have to give it a try.

For those of you with a 991.1, where did you end up putting the box? The Mr12Volt video shows the area over the gas pedal. Others have said this didn't work and they use the space behind the carpet on the passenger side. I notice some of you are also having key fob issues. Has anyone determined if this is dependant on the placement of the box?
