2022 Macan S/GTS: Which Tires Did You Get From Factory?
Which tires did your Macan S/GTS come with from factory?
Feel free to state if you got the summer tires OR if you got the All Seasons in either 20 or 21"
If you want to share where you are from, that'd be great as well as I heard different regions sometimes get more of 1 brand than others.
GTS comes with A/S tires as standard, summers are a "wheel option"
I messed up up here and expected summers as standard but it's in with painted-this-and-that in the config.
So to console myself, the Michelins get good reviews, quiet and long lasting with good traction, and I have no excuse not to venture into the mountains "to see the snow"
I'm still pissed though...
Also a 2021 GTS here, but I checked the box for summer tires and got German manufactured Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV tires, which I had never heard of before. I quite like them! They are quiet when cruising, have good turn-in response, and seem fairly sticky in the lateral grip department. Good in the wet as well.
My '22 GTS came with Pirellis. I wanted all season times so I stuck with standard tires. I've had Pirellis before and was never impressed with them. Time will tell with these but so far so good.

I have my GTS on order and Im praying I dont end up w/ Pirellis. I've only ever had Pirellis come from factory on my McLaren 570 spider and I absolutely hated them. I ended up switching to Michelin PS4S and it was a WORLD of difference.
Michelin are far superior IMO.
Picked up a new 2022 S this week to drive until my ordered GTS comes in (now kicked to 2023 allocation) - It came with 21" wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season tire - 265's front and 295's rear.
Was pleased the car had Michelins. So far they ride great, perform well and are quiet. Perfect combo!
Just wanted to 'BUMP' this thread back to see if there have been any changes to the tires people have been getting on their Macans from their factory orders from May 2022 -> Dec 2022.
Please feel free to vote if you've received your Macan lately or even chime in via the reply function.
The results for SUMMER tires (not all season) are as follows prior to May/2022
Michelin: 14
Pirelli: 9
Continental:
Other: 0
Took delivery of my S with standard 20“ S wheels last week. Came on Pirelli AS tires.
i don’t like Pirelli tires on cars - had some decent Rosso Corsa on my motorcycle, but even there, the aftermarket Michelins were far superior.
Will swap the tires in the beginning of next year - here in FL AS doesn’t make sense anyways. Car was preconfigured by the dealership - so couldn’t influence it.
My '23 S came with the Michelin Latitude Tour HP. Literally the same tires as my sister's 2018 Ford Escape 1.5. Will switch out to PS4 all-seasons when the current tires wear out.
