Has anyone found a way to prevent the constant "Your subscription to ... has expired..." being displayed? I expect this from DirecTV not Porsche fercryinoutloud!
I cancelled a subscription to a security SW on my computer and still get pop ups warning me I'm not protected. Same with the PCM. Once they have you, it's for life.
Will call CS, I expect that from others not here though. Was hoping there was some way to block this via PIWIS but haven't found anything so I took a chance someone might have come across something.
Dropped off my 3-week-old Macan GTS to have the winters put on yesterday. Picked it up and was seeing a "Your SOS call subscription has expired" message. Drove right back in and they fixed it. Duh.
Did you renew your subscription? I'm more interested if you didn't and they fixed it so there must be a setting I haven't found yet in PIWIS. Thanx for confirming!

Hopefully I wouldn't need to renew it after 3 weeks! (so no, I didn't...it was a erroneous message...I have no idea what they did to make it go away)

(and by the way, the "Duh" in my original message was aimed at Porsche not at anybody in this thread...stupid that it was displaying, and stupid that the tech staff didn't notice before giving my car back to me)

So, wait! Are you saying you got DirecTV on your PCM? Wasn't aware that was possible!
OK I think I may have found how to disable this annoying message. It's not in PIWIS but in Apps in your PCM.
Simply DELETE your Porsche Profile for that vehicle. This will remove any subscription services you have including reminders as you theoretically no longer have any services. This won't work if you have several services and you've deleted one but want to keep the others, in that case I guess you'll have to call CS and ask for the Porsche Connect Department.
I'll confirm in a couple of days after some start/stops to see if the annoying message is finally gone, but the Force is strong on this one!
