I have a Rhodium Silver 2018 GTS with black leather and silver belts/stitching - after almost a year of ownership, I still smile every time I open the door and look inside!
To me, you can't go wrong with silver/black.
I also think that the Night Blue with Espresso is a gorgeous combo, but much better suited to an S or Turbo.
Good luck with your decision!!!
I completely agree. I didn't even consider Espresso until I saw a Turbo in Night Blue with it in my dealer's lot. I spent an hour putting samples of black and espresso next to a chip of Dolomite, and decided that given the amount of black on the car (21" Spyder wheels in metallic black, sport design package with high gloss black bumper sections, high gloss black blade, black twin pipes, and model designation in high gloss black), the full black leather interior just worked better overall than the expresso did. The black seemed sportier, while the espresso was more "luxurious" which is not the theme of this car. My 2016 981S Boxster was GT Silver with full black leather, and I never regretted it. Yes, it's a "safe" combination, but a classic one. My order is locked in - hopefully should have it in around 3 months. Thanks for all of your comments and suggestions.
My 991 is platinum silver with espresso natural leather. Natural leather is awesome and it looks great with the silver. Smells amazing.
Our macan is Dolomites silver with 2 tone red black interior. It’s also great.
I believe you have already made a decision, so this post is moot. However, for others in the same situation, I have an article in the next issue of Suncoast Porsche Profile on car colors. It should be on our website in a week at suncoastpca.org. It includes some research on colors from Mercedes-Benz and from Monash University in Australia as well as other helpful info and links.
Our personal Porsches are both white, the 991 with a full beige interior including the damn reflective beige dashboard. (See avatar to the left) Thanks to a black cover from CoverCraft it is tolerable. Just looks awful.(Even Buicks come with black dashboards with the balance of the interior beige. Remember when Porsches were Driver's cars?) Our Macan is white with the black/red interior. What a difference with a black dash!
