Long time lurker, finally officially joined the group this past summer.
This is my second Porsche Macan. Back in October 2017 I custom built a fabulous Carmine Red GTS that I picked up at PEC in Atlanta in February 2018. I loved that car. This past May I was rear ended waiting at a red light by a Ford F-150 that was pushed into me by another car. My insurance company in its wisdom totaled my beloved the first week in June so I got a second chance so to speak to rebuild my GTS. I reached out to only a few dealers and I was able to get a great discount and with the check from the insurance company, and the bigger discount I got I was able to add more things to my build making this one more expensive than the first one.
I wrote about picking this one up at PEC in Atlanta over on the Macan Forum and if you need something to help you fall asleep you can go read my post. I have also included a ton of pictures.
I have only had her for a week, and pretty much all of last week she has been hanging out at the shop getting PPF put on and the front windows tinted. I had hoped to get her back today, but the shop discovered that the film looked bad on the front bumper so they are redoing it. So I am not sure when I am getting her back, and then my detailer is going to add ceramic coating and protect the leather on the inside.
I am very excited to relearn about the GTS since I have been driving my little S5 convertible while this one was being built. It was a good thing.I didn’t sell it like I was planning on doing or I wouldn’t have been able to wait for this one to be built.
If you can, the deviated stitching in the car is just fabulous. It add just enough color to the full black leather interior.
