I'm looking to also retrofit the sport chrono digital clock. I've read that PIWIS III can activate this clock. Does anyone know if an autel device or similar can do this as well?

Thanks

I'm not sure about the PIWIS but there a vendor who sells the steering wheel with activation session via online.

I know this is far back but have you or anyone else in this thread been able to code comfort entry into 8 way seats with memory?

I tried that, but with Piwis the system error response was that this is protected for security reasons and cannot be changed.

Why would you do this? It's a VALUABLE safety feature, Do you want to disable the DRL's also ?

Default Adaptive Braking

I have a 2022 GTS and been trying to implement Adaptive Braking for a long time but have been unsuccessful. My latest effort was I found a dealer willing to attempt the change. They told me after extensive efforts they were not able to make the change and believed the reason was their PiWIS system is for US based vehicles and it was locked out of making any changes that were for European models.

if anyone has any other ideas I am willing to try them. I desperately want this opinion because I am tired of being hit by inattentive drivers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What exactly is adaptive braking? What HW is required for the feature to work? I have a 2020 Turbo and a PIWIS syatem, and could look into it with a bit more information.

Default Adaptive Braking

Adaptive braking is on some/most European Porsches but not an option in the US. It flashes all 3 brake lights if you are traveling above a set speed and begin braking at a pace exceeding a set G level. Basically it flashes the rear brake lights a few times if you are making an aggressive stop. There are parameters in the settings that can be set such that any amount of braking will trigger the flashing. I am pretty sure it does not take any additional hardware, just changing the settings. Below are the settings other members used and I desire such that mild braking triggers the flashing.

- Using PIWIS change the Electronic Control Unit from "brush coding" to "rule coding"
• Select Rear End Electronics then look for the Emergency Brake Display (EBD) function
• Change Emergency Brake Display coding value from no (or Not_Active) to yes (or Active) and save to program
• Once that change has been saved you will be given options for flash time and speed at which flashing turns on:
• Set the Emergency Brake Display parameters as listed below.
• Deceleration_brake_light_On .21g
• Deceleration_brake_light_Off .05g
- Brake light flashing switch on time 125 ms
• Set brake light flashing run on time to 2 seconds
• Set speed brake light flashing on to 2 km/h or 1 mph
• Set speed brake light flashing off at 0.05 km/h or 0.03 mph
• Save all parameters and test

a couple of other members were successful with access to unrestrained PIWIS systems. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for listing this but it looks like Launch commands rather than PIWIS ones. Rear electronics, for example, is BCM2... If anyone can translate or has done this with PIWIS please post. I assume this can work on 992s as well

Will it also work on a 22 Macan?
