That's pretty thorough. Is all that cleaning and reconditioning of seals, etc. part of the major service or is it this particular shop?
Also what is used for:
- Lubrication / reconditioning of door seals, steering shaft seal, etc.
- Lubrication of hinges
- Lubrication of sunroof rails
Pretty sweet video, thanks for sharing

You can try asking the tech on YouTube, however he might not be able to answer publicly. I believe Youtube allows you to send him a private message or email. See if that helps to get some answers...

That's not bad for what you get with that service. If I buy a used Porsche, would be nice to have that man do that for my car. It looks like he knows what he's doing.
Of course, I'm sure you need to change the engine oil more often than that.

Every year, or 10K miles. I go to some Porsche specialists in the area for all my service, but if I was to go this route, I'd do oil changes at a trusted indie, and then just do the major servicing (40K, 60K, etc.) at the dealer.

Are all Porsche techs required to do everything in video at 40,000 miles or is this tech unique in what he does?

This tech seems to be one of the good guys. I wouldn't mind paying for this service if my car would be taken care of like in this video...

My oil light just came up on the Macan. I called to book a service appointment.
The above is spark plug, not plugs and coils, like the 997.
- Oil and filter change service with multi-point inspection is $490+tax due once a year or 15000km
- Major maintenance service includes the oil and filter change, cabin air filter, engine air filter, brake fluid, spark plugs, PDK transmission fluid replacement. Due every 4 years or 60000km $2850+tax
The above is spark plug, not plugs and coils, like the 997.
