ooops it aint over till its over. was driving next to a very interesting car today that i didnt even know existed. audi s5 sportback 5 door hatch. looked really nice, probably handles better than any suv, including macan gts, on track, and comes to exact same price as x4. not sure how limited rear seat is compared to suv but will check it out.

And an X4 is not twice the car that a Kia Sportage is.
Since you can't tell the difference between them when you drive and price is your primary metric, broaden your brand horizons. The Koreans make good inexpensive cars.

different cars for different jobs. When I wanted a track car I bought a gt3, not a carrera s. When I wanted luxury, I bought a panamera 4s, not an infiniti. Now im looking for a dd that can handle occasional track day. X4 can do that. Kia cannot. X4m and macan are incredibly similar. X4m even feels more agile. And it is 1/2 cost. I would feel foolish getting macan given those facts. But S5 sportback might be another option depending on rear seat practicality

audi was nice. drove very similar to macan gts in feel. better back seat room too. amazingly, i still think x4 was a sportier drive than both of the others. but s5 has a really pretty green exterior with grey alcantera interior along with lower cg for track so....still deciding!

don't understand the troll king foto. is it directed at me? because I find it hard to decide between various vehicles that all cost about $75k, weigh 4000lbs, have v6tt with 350hp, awd, 8 sp trans, made in Germany, cramped rear seats, similar size, etc? how can anyone decide between almost identical vehicles with out lots of deliberation? regardless, im going with the audi s5 hatchback sedan. thanks

As far as lease goes, anyone.
But if you buy and plan on keeping beyond warranty, STAY AWAY from Benz and BMW. I can't stand how Benz **** their parts incessantly after 4 years. BMWs have electrical demons as part of their build process apparently that BMW techs can't fix.
