Nope... I've seen a Turbo with Continentals and non Turbos with Michelins.

There was a lengthy thread on the 992 forum trying to figure out if there was any logic to tire allocation. After a lot of feedback and different models, appears to be random.

Another 22” turbo with Michelins. While agreed it was fully random for the Taycan. do we yet have a picture of a 22” Macan turbo that shows other than Michelins?

I kept looking and you are right that the tire randomization continues on 22” shod Macan turbos.

The Bridgestone tire is a summer performance tire option. There's no way this is random.

This is not a Turbo, it doesn't have the gloss wheel arches.

There could be other factors such as the rear axle steering, perhaps?

fwiw mine has rear wheel steering…i left my tire selection on default all season, maybe i should've selected summer for the michelin?

Im pretty sure the summer tires are going to be the Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires.

Here are the tires I've seen on 22" US SPEC:
Continental CrossContact RX
Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4
Bridgestone Potenza Sport


Macan 4 Euro Spec
22"
GoodYear

21"
Pirelli P ZERO
GoodYear

20"
Bridgestone

Tirerack shows what's OE for the Turbo - for 22" it's Pirelli, Bridgestone and Goodyear (summer options). I ordered the summer tire option on my turbo - when it comes in I'll report which set it is. I'm guessing it will be Pirelli as that's what I typically see up here on p-cars.

Michelin A/S are fantastic tires. Immediately put them on our iX — and they work so well. Unless you live in a climate where excessive heat is the norm I think you will be very happy with the performrance.

Why not? Porsche does it for all their other cars... including RS models.

You’re saying they put the optional summer performance tires that cost extra $630 for those who did not select it for free?

Perhaps their tire selection depends on the region the car is delivered.
