Macan EV: What is/was your car pre-Macan Electric?
#1
What is/was your car pre-Macan Electric?
Reading the comments, some people say the Macan 4 is plenty fast acceleration-wise while others (myself included) crave the extra HP.
Got me wondering: is your current car also an EV or ICE?
Feel free to add details below!

On my end, all AWD:
2013 > 2016: BMW X3 35i
2022 > 2024: Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium
2024 (temporarily): Hyundai Ioniq 5
2024 (upcoming): Porsche Macan Turbo
With every change, shaving a few 0.x second on the acceleration - but now will have superior handling too!

Your configurator is very nice.
My Macan 4 is also nearly the same, with few tweaks. The colour and wheels are the same as yours.
I didn't add chrono, and after reading some comments about InnoDrive, left it out too, although I was in two minds. May as well read-up some comments on pros and cons of InnoDrive.

I'm switching from BMW M340 and considered at first M3 but finally ordered Macan 4, my first EV.

Drove Macan 3 S and enjoyed it a lot but it was outdated and had no driver assist.
M3 was too much, need something more comfortable but fun to drive.
Macan 4 seems to check a lot of boxes including decent range.
Has anyone switched from BMW sedans to prev gen Macan?

I initially left out InnoDrive given poor feedback in the Taycan, but after watching Out of Spec’s review trying it in the Macan 4 I decided to add it in. Seems like they might have made some serious improvements with this model.
Initially thought I could add it later through Porsche Connect but Dealer told me it’s not slated to be available at this time.

I apologize for that.
As a french, I usually don’t use acronyms ; but as a new rennlist member, I had to understand and use so many acronyms (AG, IG, TB and so on)!
Happy to see that I am not the only one who struggles with acronyms :-)

the macan 4 i have on order will be my first real daily! first car was a GT4 in 2021 followed by an 812 superfast last year. due to how horrible my driveway is the GT4 can’t make it down into the garage, so the 812 is kinda my daily right now 🙃 (tho i don’t really drive during the week, so it’s not driven daily)
