Default Is Turbo's Premium Package the cheapest/lightest premium package on any Porsche ever?

$1300
  • Ventilated Seats (Front)
  • Heated Seats (Rear)
  • Advanced 4-Zone Climate Control
Have we seen anything cheaper/lighter?

Yeah I was pretty impressed by this and immediately selected it as an option for my Turbo build - they might as well have included massage seats and charge $1800

So much standard equipment now, they don't really have a choice.

I did vent seats+massage and heated rears "ala carte" - and then checked the "premium package" - it was $100 more for the premium package - making the 4 zone "almost free"

if you're getting vent seats and rear heating - just get the premium package.

Do we know, from other Porsche models, what the climate zones are like without the 4-zone? Presumably just a front zone and a rear zone control?

I actually don’t like having separate left/right climate control zones, so I think I’m going to ala carte the heated and ventilated seats. Though a rear zone does make sense, so I wouldn’t want to miss out on that.

Still not sure why Porsche can’t offer massage with the 18-way seats, but this probably explains why it’s not included in the premium package.

It would just be 2 zone (front). The rear would have vents but not separate controls. 4 zone also typically has a more complex AC setup with additional blowers, increased refrigerant.
