Default We gotta get a Turtle sticker on this car...

Though I think the sticker may peel off on the first run

Not if it retracks its head and legs when the rocket kicks in.

We'll give them a run for their money!

Hmmm...gives me some ideas for how to prep my car for the 2009 season. I've gone through the PCA rules very closely and I can't find anything that says you can't attach rockets to your car.

Very clever, Rick.

You're right, there is nothing in the rules.

I have one concern though. We may get into a ballistics race, with guys going around the paddock bragging "My rocket is bigger than your rocket!"

As humble as we Turtles are, I fear some of the people on this very board, are susceptible to that.

If you were passing it, Paul must not be up to speed.

El oh el.

He is getting there, frankly. He was going a lot better at the end of the weekend.... He was saying that the non-power steering was the toughest thing to adapt to, and he needs to be in better physical condition.

It would be interesting to see how our cars compare in the hands of the same drover. I suspect the RS would be faster at a track like TWS with fast sweeping corners, simply due to the downforce the wong provides ot the rear tires. Whereas, on a tight twisty course like MSR's 3.1, it might be a much closer match.

Maybe. That car was blindingly fast on twisty circuits because of how stiff the suspension is. I have never driven a car (of that weight) that transitions as fast as it does.

Funny, I had to work to adjust to the power steering of my 993 some years ago as it was the first PS car I had driven on track. It felt good to get back to manual steering with the Cup Car and the RSA.

BTW, how does the guy's wong effect downforce?
