Sweet. I bet that thing'll turn in some impressive laptimes. I really dig the 'Death Race 2000' blades sticking out from the sides of the front airdam.

You know, I own two Miatas, both with measly 1.6 litre engines. The only reason Miatas do well on the track is because of their light weight and exceptional handling, despite the small engine. In the Miata world, we're always trying to make the car lighter so that it will go faster. This is what leads me to ask the Hondimmer owner "WTF"?!? WHY would anybody ADD weight (body kit) to a car that has no horsepower? And if I'm going to spend $15k on a car, it will be a REAL M3, not a replica. Heck, buying a used Bimmer would actually be cheaper.

I always wonder in amazement why people will take a car and put 10K into the outside of a car and do nothing at all to the mechanicals of the car. They do it with all sorts of cars. Porsches are no exception.

5K for a custom body kit , 5k for a custom paint job and then you look under the hood and it looks like the inside of a cave.

It looks fast though.

If you can win the show with a replica of an M3, would you be the intergalactic champion if you just showed up with a real M3? Oh, and throw $20,000 of burning cash in the air as you throw gang signs.

That last part should seal the deal.

Answer = RICE "changes made to an automobile which decrease the cars performance characteristics."

I get ya renvagn . . . so you mean that instead of spending money to improve the performance, some folks spend money to make it LOOK fast rather than BE fast. Maybe we'll see that car at the next SEMA show . . . NOT.

True Dat!!!

Add some cool deep blue lights that make the car look like its levitating and you might just shave an additional .0000000001 seconds off the street race time on that sucka'.
