HHHmmmmm...... WTF Some peoples kids.

And if I'm going to spend $15k on a car, it will be a REAL M3, not a replica. Heck, buying a used Bimmer would actually be cheaper.

I was particularly impressed by this statement:

You are correct....my daily driver isn't quite as good as a BMW when it comes to handling (close though), but it is much more versatile, being an '07 F-150.

I have been required to drive a few vehicles over the last few days in order to ascess their handling as we brought them in (damn work!):

VR, I do indeed wish that my RDX handled as well as a BMW. On the other hand M3s wish they handled and braked as well as a GT3 <snicker>. Bangle Mobiles Wrecked, correct?

I still prefer Blimp My Wreck in the case of the GR montrosity you posted. Why would anyone take a perfectly good Honda (I like Hondas) and turn it into a BMW. Does this portend that some numbskull will try and turn a Porsche 911 into a Skoda?

Hey Bull, we met each other at the ALMS race at Tremblant after I had the distinct pleasure of showing Johannes Van Overbeek the right way around Tremblant. You didn't look slack jawed then, has something changed? I was slack jawed after said Overbeel took me for a ride in his car mind you. I remember him flying into turn six (a 100MPH plus left hand sweeper and shifting two thirds the way to track out. He could see my hand twitching - instructor reflex to stop him from shifting. He smiled at said "it's the wing Bob don't worry". he was right. One of the best rides I have even had on my home track.

As to ****** .. dunno, VR, Bull and I don't have that sort of relationship.

Actually, I have never been to the ALMS race at Tremblant, but I'm certain I wasn't slack jawed, wherever I was, in any event.

They haven't made a decent BMW since the 2002tii.............

You're the best one at High Marques to evaluate the cars?

Sounds like fun. I watched you do it in "Dune".
