Intern. Interesting thought. My only problem with that is ever since Clinton the definition of "internship" is a bit different.
I would think we would only offer that position to Milka or the like.
Just a thought.

Having various categories of membership beyond "full member" and PCOC seems like an administrative nightmare. Plus, Doc Pain's hour long task would be stretched from one year to two years to account for the various categories. Of course all of this would be up to the committee that might or might not exist to meet or not meet and vote or not vote on such a proposal or not.

Thank you! Voting is too damned messy.....you must gather the votes (could take forever with this group), count the votes, buy some votes, stuff the ballot box if it ain't going your way....then some guy named Chad comes along and dangles around! Screw THAT!

So, now that the idea to ban voting has been brought up and seconded, how do you get a quorum without voting?
Out of curiosity, how long do I have to hang around before any of this starts making sense?
BTW- For reasons previously mentioned the, uh, monicar of 'intern' rubs me the wrong way, uh, so to speak. Can we change it back to consideration for apprenticeship?

1. We don't have a quorum or any other kind of rum around here. BT is the governing body. He just sometimes delegates duties to other members.
2. If your waiting for anything around here to make sense you will be waiting even longer than usual for HWFMR,
3.Apprenticeship is probably more advisable. Of course who knows where the advisement will come from.
Anything else we can do for you?

Actually, voting never existed. So, we aren't banning voting, we are banning the word vote and any of its permutations.
How do we get a "quorum? Huh? We don't need no stinkin' quorums! None of us have any final say about anything around here. The BT makes all final decisions, makes proclamations now and then, and generally does what he wants when he wants. Simple, with no confusing democratic pretensions or messy socialistic blathering.
If you are waiting around for things to make sense around here, you better pull up a chair and get real comfortable. You gonna be here a while son!
Similarly, where did you get the idea that anyone really gives a rat's *** what it is that you want? And I mean that in the most inclusive and accepting way...........

I do think if my entire post is read in the context in which it was intended, you'll see that I share the same view with everyone with regard to the word v$te or not. However, I fully support the ban of the word v$te to eliminate any confusion or not. Also, since quorum implies v$ting will or should take place, I would submit that it should be also be banned. Or not.

Your second question makes an assumption that has a fatal flaw...I guess that is a non-sequitur also
Your last question assumes that you have any say in the matter
OH' fer Three.....

As keeper of banned substances, I promise to comply with the request made and seconded to add the word V*te to the list of banned words and phrases. V*te hereby takes it's place along with s33ded bun and n$%ner n$%ner on the banned words and phrases list. I think there's another word on the list, but I banned myself from reading it.
