"Secret Meetings"....you think these guys are having secret meetings???? Really? Behind my back? Where?

Don't give up so easily (but do give up!), as I have absolutely no say in anything around here, nor any influence on anything.

It was a ploy to entice you to ask me to join since I clearly have that "don't care" attitude.

I guess that didn't work either. How about bribery, does bribery to the committee work? I don't have anything you might want, I'm just curious.

It's a gambit that's been tried successfully once before in a somewhat different form. Trackjunky became an official non-member by declaring that he would never be a member.

I actually think you may have the right stuff. I mean no one could ever drive a Fiat 850 and have any real aspirations of being fast. Hell, most people assume you can't get the things to move at all. Delusions maybe, but definitely not aspirations. And a 928? Well nuf said right there. And for what its worth, I was actually a member of HWFMR before I ever drove on a track.

But he has used the words "terminal velocity"...which means he can get the most out of something...what that is, I am not sure...but it can't be good.

Um......my status as Official Non-Member may also be based on my inablity to conform to any specific set of rules. In fact, I may just be too damn lazy to read the rule book and therefore claim ignorance. In addition, reading is cumbersome and time consuming.

So basically, I may actually have been made a member because I am a non-conforming, lazy, ignorant, illiterate fool.

VR......here's your sign.

Yes, but as anyone can see, you filled a position that has nothing to do with driving either!

As compared to us conformists??????

Lets make Dr. Pains next assignment, assuming he ever completes the first, compiling all of the HWFMR rules into a HWFMR Handbook.

Oh God! I am conforming to non-conformity! Does this make me an oxymoron?

No, that isn't the cause.

I have been thinking about this...since we have an "Official Non-Member" (btw - does that mean that there was a non-vote for a non-member by the Membership committee [that may or may not exist]??)...
anyways I do think we need an "Apprentice"...and given the myriad of mistakes in his application, his lack of a suitable "racing" vehicle and his lack of track time....he would make the perfect apprentice as he is clearly in dire need of mentorship. Perhaps he could even intern in the PCOC and assist Doc Pain???

just sayin'
