Just thought I'd shout out a positive tiding, given that we are now part of a fun forum, and it's FRIDAY!!! I know some of you will be partaking in on-track festivities, and I hope you have a safe and wonderful time! I am jealous, though. But I'll get my grins in a couple of weeks.

So while some of us are stuck at home, who's going where? DE or race? Have fun!

Summit Point . . . where is that again? If I recall it's *kind of* close to me, but for the life of me I can't remember where. I've got to get out there someday soon -- preferrably before I move to Floreeduh.

TWS in a couple of weeks. I can't wait. Maybe MSR a week from today to test out my new suspension, etc.

I hope to go racing in a couple of weeks at Thunderhill, then we have our event a week after that. Then it's off to Floreeduh again. I just booked a flight for September 26 and will stay three weeks out there. Maybe there will be something going on in the area while I am there?

Am at BeaveRun Sat/Sun with ARPCA. Tomorrow is iffy weatherwise...Sunday OK. I need my fix, have had the shakes for a week now, last track event was Mid O on July 4...so its been 49 days 18 hours 10 minutes since my last fix....

Roebling Rd in middle of Sept. Last track time was Barber in June. I gotta drove that track again.

Wow . . . some of you guys have not been to the track enough at all lately! How do you do it? Granted, I didn't do any track stuff in July, but I had someone occupying my time so I hardly noticed it. One place I do miss is Sebring. <sigh>

I made a commitment to my wife & baby daughter that I would take the summer off. It turned out for the best, since we had 2 months of rain here (very unusual for Texas) and it also gave me time to do needed long-term maintenance and upgrades to the M3 anyway.

But I have been jonesing for a track fix since about July 4th.

Oh, so THAT'S where Summit Point is . . . clearly I am thinking of something else. Hmmm . . . I'll wait until I move out east before thinking of going there.
