The same can be said of some famous scientists/professors. They don't need to read academic papers. The authors already told them the story months before it came out, or, they can have graduate students read them.

mooty, I'm running 265/35/19 on 9" wheels, and 295/30/19 on 11". Working very well. Hoosier told me 40+ hot....but they are much better at 36 hot. On my 3rd set now. They last about 2 days.

2 Days is 8 HCs, the fronts cord. I'm trying -3.5 this weekend, we'll see if it works better.

Something is wrong here. Cording them after 8 HC's is much too fast. Expensive too! I suspect the camber increase alone isn't going to resolve the problem. Are you considering other options? Heavier springs? Stiffer roll bars? Lowering the car?

Yes, I know. The car is too soft for a strut based chassis and I was not running enough camber before. I got about the same from a set of rear tires on the RS - but that is a totally different beast, so it's not that bad in the grand scheme of things. I think with the right alignment and some more driving finesse I could get 1-1.5 more days from them. I may try running the front bar full stiff as well. We're all learning how to make this car work.....

Understood. At least you're working with a good tire. Good luck and keep us posted.

I tried that at COTA - Understeer city immediately! Dave Scott drove my car for a few laps like that and basically told me afterwards that it handled like crap, or something along those lines...
