What did you do to your GT4 today?

IMO you made it really hard on yourself. There is plenty of power coming from your lights on the ceiling. Pop off the plastic piece up top, tap into the light power source (including grounded wire) and you're off and running. There is plenty of space in there for extra wiring too. No need to route it all the way around your windshield into the fuse box. Those lights turn off after the car is off for more than 30 seconds so its not sucking any extra power when the car is off.

Do you have any additional details, like the hot/ground wire colors? Pics?

Unfortunately no. I had my buddy help me who has done this numerous times in other vehicles so he was a pro at that point and knocked it out while I pretty much watched and handed him tools haha. You really just need a electrical test meter once you strip the silicone insulation around the wire. A credit card was the easiest way to pop open the plastic piece up top.

If you've done it on your M6 it should be pretty easy for you. Ironically my buddy who helped me has done it on his M4 and his wife's X5M so you're good company.
Good luck!

Quality looks top notch and I opted for the red stitching on the little bolster protector piece which to me flows more naturally than the factory piece that has no stitching on it.

Put the car up on Jackpoints and got it ready for:
1. TPC DSC install - Done
2. TPC rear toe links
3. Spiegler brake lines
4. Prep for BBI roll bar
5. Sizing up hardware for Dundon headers

I used the wire tap from blend mount because it had a small inline fuse.
When you you pull down the front edge of the light pod just pull it down enough to see most of the silver clips that hold the front in...then slide the whole unit toward you. The tabs in the back are plastic and could break if you pulled down too far without pulling forward. I used a thin drywall spatula wrapped in 1 round of masking tape instead of a credit card to pop it down.
Good luck. It's not too difficult.
