I know that cup cars are not for the faint of wallet, so I wonder how expensive a GT4 cup will be to run. Also wondering what cup parts can be put onto the GT4.

Sorry for the off topic post, but I have to say your mix of cars/colors is really interesting. And I know it's not PC to say this on Rennlist, but out of those I'd most like to drive the Huracan. I was never a big Lamborghini fan, but they seem to have really stepped up their game with the Huracan based on the reviews I've read/watched.

All they they have done is to publicly allude to the fact that a race car is on the horizon. Nothing is official as of yet for a spec on the car, where it will be raced, etc. If people are interested they should contact Porsche Motorsport directly or wait to hear further as the wait will be over soon.

Makes sense, they need to focus on getting the GT3-R finished, and sell as many of them before they roll out the "lower" GT4-Cup.
Unfortuately, that doesn't give anybody much time to test for racing, such as PWC, Conti-GS, etc. etc., but hopefully teams can get them up and running quickly.
Purely speculation, but here's a few things I'm hoping for, which should keep operating costs down, and give us a nice parts catalog for the weekend warriors.
Manual transmission
Lower final drive (R&P)
Stock engine
Some sort of further lightened dual mass, or single mass flywheel
PFC brake package
18" wheels

Are the details embargoed? I dont see what the issue is for Porsche to cough up details if they have confirmed that this is a real thing. Its not like its a general public product right, this is going to be sold via proxy through PMNA, correct?
