RE71R Rear Discontinued?
Tire Rack no longer lists the 295/30/20, and I just ordered some last month. My TR contact says they aren’t active in the system anymore.
Anyone with Bridgestone direct information able to confirm if it is a shortage or discontinued?

I have heard the re71 is being phased out. I wouldn't expect to see them any time soon.

I believe the Goodyear Supercar 3 is available in our sizes. They are getting really good reviews saying that even for a 220tw tires they are as fast if not faster that some top 200tw.

they came with the car. I'll mount my slicks on these BC wheels when they wear out since skinnier RE71R 295's will grip a little better when it rains.

I as just about to order new RE71R's and noticed that the rears are discontinued. So what do I get? I mostly care about not going slower at the track, the rest is irrelevant to me. Are the Cup 2's as fast? I know they are a great tire and cost slightly more, but as stated, when I go to the track every couple of months, my goal is to improve my PB lap times, which is why I wouldn't want to go with a slower tire. Going with 285 rears would seem like a disadvantage, even though the car tends to under steer slightly. Thoughts?

Cup2 (N1 compound from the new 718GT4) should be as fast, but you’re gonna pay a lot more. Another option is the GY Eagle F1 Supercar 3, but they’ll be slightly slower. Discount Tire might still have stock on the rears, and maybe other small retailers might have some if you look around.

If they don't come through and you want to save hundreds, these are new, fresh and sticky but only for OEM wheel sizes
