Default Dundon Headers-wow!

Finally installed the Dundon race headers on the GT4 and wow! I know there’s been a lot of positive reviews but I didn’t know it would be this good. It really transforms the car and improves the overall experience. Thanks Jamie for your help on this.

I’m really on the fence about doing Dundon headers and man, reviews like this aren’t helping!

I can fix that for you in a little over 2 weeks at the Smokies event. You can take my car for a drive. Jamie will be at the event so you can place a direct order with him.

Do it!!!!!! I have them as well mated to a Fabspeed valvetronic exhaust. It's like a F-1 car when you open it up. Relatively quiet and drone free when you are putzing around town or cruising at normal highway speeds.

Do it. Super happy with my DMS headers. They aren't the cheapest option but they are the best combo of power, no cel, and excellent construction.

I have a set incoming for my Spyder, along with the Cobb pre-loaded with their 91 tune. If there's too much smell I will add some cats per DMS suggestion.

So stoked. No plans to add valvetronic exhaust though. I think we start getting into drone zone with that. It's subjective. Some people will tell you it will drone, others do not. Either way, one thing at a time for me. DMS option for it looks great, but $5250.. whew, but you are getting 321 stainless! Also the option with DMS to do the GT3 conversion.

Alan has been raving about them for quite some
time. I bit the bullet and really wish I did it sooner. Best bang per dollar. The Dundon boys are on point!

Ive got mine mates to the Akrapovic titanium system...and yes it’s race car noises on a cold start.

You guys are facilitators of bad behavior. I’m trying to resist the mod bug...

Man I wish there was somebody in the Atlanta area with a Dundon/Cobb setup; I'd sure like to try before doing it. Less because of the expense and more because of the way sometimes (many times?) mods make the car better at the thing they're targeting, but at the cost of making it worse at something else. And maybe that something else doesn't matter to the people who own it so they never mention it; but maybe that something else would matter to me.

In this case, of course, the "something else" is the car's aural signature. Maybe I'll like it, but maybe I'll wish I'd never done it in the first place. An extensive test ride along with somebody would let me answer two questions: 1) is the performance delta enough to make it worth the hassle (Buteo's answer of "used to be slower than my Carrera GTS, now faster that that car" is a great indicator for me because of my experience with my GTS. But Buteo hasn't lined them up and raced, or timed them. So I'd still like to get a ride. And 2) listening to start-up, puttering along, and 3/4 throttle, and WOT would be super instructive.

Anybody?

Very nice, please keep us posted. Based on your results, I plan to do the same with my 981 Spyder if the next version does not bring sufficient heat!
