718 GT4?

Agree. I love my 911T as an everyday sports car... fun, usable, torquey, kid's seat in the back, etc. But my GT4 is much more of a raw, visceral experience.

I can imagine...you have BGBs stage II on your GT4....they go the extra mile by doing port & polish and port matching everything on the X51 kit. Must be awesome on the upper rev range. Hopefully we will get "some" of this on the next GT4.

Is your GT4 modified? I know I am in the minority here but I drove two CPO GT4's (with and without CF buckets) back to back. They felt more like my 981CS than anything else. That's not a bad thing but I expected more. The car was louder but I can't say it was a ton faster than my CS in a straight line. The gearing was my biggest issue on my CS and nothing was done to correct it on the GT4. I wanted a GT4 for years and walked away disappointed in the differences given the price point. On the street the car felt neutered compared to 991S cars I had driven. If I bought it, it would have needed a tune, some exhaust work, and gears at the very least to wake it up.
Despite my aversion to turbocharged car's, I drove a Carrera T and walked away thrilled. To me, it is just a more exciting package. Faster on the street and I need less room to have fun. I would consider the next GT4 but Porsche's intentional handicapping of the mid engined platform kills me.

I think that you have to ask what changes can be made without materially changing cost.
Gear ratos - yes - easy.
Screaming engine? Prob not without increasing $15-$20k. And that’s a higher screaming version of a 3.8. The Gt3 engine is what? $35k more?
PDK- as a paid option sure.
Suspension - nope but I don’t think that people feel there’s a need.
Restbis all minor engine stuff, aero and styling

I think many of the new cars will be about $120K with options regardless of what Porsche actually does to improve the car. If Porsche chooses to make its performance on par with something else in the lineup, then that's the price point to look at.

Clubsport owners get their new cars and we get to learn a little more about the car.
