Thumbs down Windshield glare lawsuit

Geez

I guess if you can afford a Porsche you can afford to sue for pittance because of reflective glare. And that there will always be those willing to represent. Who is going to get rich of this lawsuit again? And who will pay for it hence with? You guessed it.

The Court asked the following attorneys and law firms to represent you and other Class Members:

Jordan L. Lurie Tarek H. Zohdy
Capstone Law APC
1875 Century Park East, Suite 1000
Los Angeles, CA 90067
Phone: (310) 556-4811

Robert L. Starr

23901 Calabasas Rd, Suite 2072
Calabasas, CA 91302
Phone: (818) 225-9040

Stephen M. Harris

I noticed a conspicuous disclaimer in the Porsche car configurator about this "issue" in recent weeks. Each person is entitled to up to $175 it looks like. These kind of plaintiff lawyers seem to do quite well. Sometimes they provide a valuable service to the public and sometimes not.

What a riot.

You got the paperwork for your GT4?

Which Porsche vehicles are included?
All model year 2007 through 2016 Porsche vehicles equipped with Luxor Beige, Sand Beige, Cognac, Platinum Grey, and Natural Brown dashboards.

Shakespeare was right about lawyers.
Of course, it takes some douche-bag plaintiff to start the insanity. . .

That's hilarious (and a sad commentary on our society)...

I've been bothered by the glare from the shiny air vent on top of the dash. Time for another suit.

I've been an internet marketing consultant for attorneys (and doctors) for the past decade.

There are many MDLs and Class Action suits that are important to protect the public at large, but this seems silly...I mean who gets a beige interior??

Sad

I wont be sending in my paper work for my full, natural leather interior.

What a joke.

How about that glare off of the center console trim, the rectangular piece around the shifter and mode buttons? Nasty glare sometimes. I'd say often enough that someone should pay me for my annoyance. Oh wait....that someone will be me when I buy my next Porsche new car or part.... nevermind.

My SA actually talked me out of full leather due to issues with reflection off the windscreen.

Actually I have this problem with my 2012 Cayenne Turbo with the Luxor Beige Interior. The reflection really bothered me when I picked up the vehicle new but over the years have learnt to live with it.

I was definitely surprised to receive the class action lawsuit mailing this week... not sure what to make of it really as I have not done any work yet on my vehicle to fix the glare issue and have not spent time reading through the letter either.
