I usually reset before and sometimes during an autocross. Looks like the last one was 1.13 braking, 0.87 accel, 1.58 left, 1.1 or 1.2 something right. I find it's not unusual to see a 1.4x or 1.5x lateral during autocross. Presumably instantaneous -- the OEM tires can't sustain that. Putting on top autocross R compounds would increase the numbers some.
I've seen as high as 1.7 Gs to the left and 1.5 under braking on the track. RE71R tires. I have a feeling the 1.7 was from a small oversteer situation I encountered.
the most significant attribute that drives G-Force are the tires. I bet Bill was running Hoosiers at the glenn and thus the higher G values....
there is a big difference between peaks and sustained.
my experiences is that the Cup2 and RE71R can sustain 1.35 ish (track surface also comes into play as well as temperatures)
you will see peaks around1.6 on above tires when you hit curbs in a hard corner.
My instructor showed me 1.8 on the GT4RS dash before I blew it up.
Probably due to the corkscrew and carousel with elevation changes on the new West Track.
Kept up with a landing jetliner on the back straight (do the math).
Not sure we were supposed to be doing 10/10ths, so please keep on the down-low.
LOL I did not know that thing stored your highest readings. Rather impressed that my otherwise stock 981 Cayman S did 151 L 144 R and 141 B. However that was w/ Nankangs, SRF, and Ferodo 3.12s. Acceleration only 47 even w/ Sport Chrono Plus; definitely need more power!
