Default NEW (to me) GT4. Here she comes!

If you are a frequently Rennlister who hangs in the GT4 forums, you may remember my deep soul search to figure out if the GT4 was for me or perhaps a hunt for the correct lift to put her on.

Nearly 2 months later, everything is coming together. She was loaded on a truck on Friday. I picked up the car in Washington, D.C. and drove it to Cincinnati, to leave with a family member where it gets loaded up to come home.

I bought this GT4 from Rennlister Soupy in Virginia, because that's what you are supposed to do, right, buy from a Rennlister first when possible?

Thank you Rennlist community for helping make this a reality for me.

PS: The garage electrical and patch work is roughed in. I'll update when I wrap up that work and offload the car, but I was too excited not to share.

Congrats!

That lift looks terrifying (only supported at one point)! I would always put my least favourite car on the bottom...

She came home safe. I gave her a proper shakedown tour from LA to BIG SUR and back over the weekend and now she is tucked away in bed getting some sleep.

Love this car. Will post my Big Sur drive thoughts separately in the "What did you do..." thread.

Congrats.

What type of lift is that?? Might be what I'm looking for.

Would like details on that lift also. I'm building a custom home soon and this looks like a cool design with only one post.

Congratulations, white is my second favorite non-PTS color on this car. I really like it.

It is a Maximum One single-post lift.

I'm quite happy with the choice. I have a very standard "West LA" style residential 2-car garage. It's really the only thing I could make fit with my constraints.

It's a bit nerve racking a first, but it's rated far more than I have on it. I hope to make a video about it over the holiday break and post that up on Saturday night or Sunday morning so people can get a closer look.
