OEM Porsche Leather Recaro seats by 311RS
First shown here in a Porsche 991 GT3 by 311RS, we're proud to launch the 311RS-spec Recaro bucket seat. These are built using OEM materials - leather, alcantara, and stitching, along with a factory-like seat cover design. The idea for these came about after our first track day sliding around with factory 18-way seats.
The goal was to deliver an aftermarket Recaro bucket seat with factory fit and finish at a fair price. OEM Porsche seats can be hard to come by and in today's market at quite a premium. With Recaro-specifc seat mounts available for most Porsche models, we're extending the program beyond the 991 GT3 platform.
The seats shown are Recaro's Profi XL model. The owner of this particular 991 GT3 is on the taller side at 6'4", which meant we needed a larger bucket to fit him properly. They fit great yet at the same time fit a 5'10 & 6'1" frame just as well. For compact drivers, we also offer the Recaro Pole position seat with this same treatment.
Below is a quick rundown of the seats on offer, with more info on our website here - http://www.311rs.com/product-release...-recaro-seats/
311RS-spec Recaro bucket seat
- Available in Recaro Profi XL & Pole Position models

Red stitch for a 991 GT3:
An embossed crest in the headrest for a 996 GT3 RL member:
Another 991 GT3 RL member with Platinum stitching:
And today we have samples for a clients 997 Carrera S with factory Cocoa Brown leather:

Do these also have height adjustment?
Do these also have the necessary cuts for the full harness?
What's the install procedure? I'm guessing you have to code out the airbag light and the seat weight sensor for the passenger. Can you give details there? Have you installed in the GT4/981? I understand the 981 is narrower than the GT3 so there could be rubbing.
I must say these do look great and may just be the seats i need to forget about LWB.

These look great! The Lwbs are awesome but the profis are way more supportive with a deeper bucket and between the profi, pp, and profi xl people can choose the best size for them.

Thanks for the positive feedback and the questions. I'll take a moment to reply to a few of these comments -
They do have cutouts for all 6 points of the harnesses. Install is straightforward and any Porsche shop would be able install them. We've had them in our 981 development car and can confirm fitment. It didn't appear to be much/if any tighter than our 991 GT3 dev unit and rubbing was only noted at the further most point forward in the sliders adjustment. A person would struggle to drive like that, however!
Wouldn't that be the day!
Thanks for coming by dude.
I think you will enjoy them, Steve.
Correct, and the OP has been revised to reflect this.
Totally. The LWB buckets are amazing but not quite a true bucket seat. The added lateral support of a true bucket is nice.
I'm happy to answer any further questions guys! -Ryan

To confirm, these are the fiberglass Recaro's right? These seats retail for roughly $1k each so your adding a custom seat cover for another $1k each to looks like. Does this $4300 include all hardware, sliders etc?
Where do the lap and sub belts attach to? The chassis or the seat adapter?

If we use a BBi or Cantrell seat mount belts are then attached to the seat mount. Standard 3/4/5/6 belt slots in the Profi XLs allow the user to run harnesses however they wish, which is nice.
To be clear for those who are not familiar with these seats, Recaro has the sub belt slots situated neatly between the two bottom cushions.
