Are you guys able to make the Alcantara inserts only available? Can they be retro fired into a set of Pole Positions?

Yes & yes. We'd build you a set specifically for Pole Positions. If you'd like a set, email us at info@311RS.com and we'll take care of you with RL Member pricing.

Has anyone installed these and successfully decoded the airbag light so it remains OFF?

Pretty sure 311RS isn't making these anymore. They had some trouble with their upholsterer leaving.

well thats not good news because I ordered a set and was told they would be 6-8 weeks, and then another 2 weeks after that no later than the 14th of OCT and now we have no date. apparently its a supplier issue not having the SPG XL in stock, I have been told that they do have the leather patterned out and ready to install once they get the seats in. Ordered July 27th. Thursday will make week 12.

Jamie - correct about our upholsterer troubles. One closed his business to work for a Tier 1 manufacturer, the next was local to us however he passed away (RIP), we're now working with a fellow who was an apprentice for our original upholsterer. All is well there.

We appreciate the patience, Kris. I'll call you this afternoon with the latest on your order.

Finally got mine yesterday.

I have to say, the leather work has taken a hit. the seams are showing the blacks threads and there are tons of wrinkles. The pattern does not appear to be the same as the prior ones as I dont have stitching coming down to the inserts at the shoulders. you guys be the judge.

Arione or 311: how much do they weigh? Somehow have not come across these before. Only two images in the original post show up, but I can get to the website. This is a great idea as there is a huge need for these.

Re: airbag light. I have read recently you need to have the airbag light turned off with OEM seats still in the car (or at least hooked up electrically). For some reason, it does not work when the seats are removed.

I would return those if I bought them... That looks floppy all over.

Thanks for the pics, Kris. These are clearly not up to par. I'd like to speak with the upholstery shop in CA you mentioned, we've secured the original digitized patterns. Shoot us a call on Monday.

Profi XLs weigh 22lbs from the factory, and typically end up at 23-25lbs with our covers made from Porsche materials, all leather units tend to weigh more than those with alcantara centers or another material i.e. tartan, houndstooth, etc. You are correct about the airbag lights for cars older than 2012. The process is different for 981s and 991s.

I'd be curious for a price on one Recaro Pole covered in factory Marble Grey leather to match the original marble grey sport hardback seats in my 993. Ive often thought that this would be the best of both worlds as I could still use the factory passenger seat to access the rear seats while having a fixed driver seat for the odd track day.
