Making it look easy when it's not, nice driving as usual!

If I had a PDK (and I am pretty much never planning on it, unless racing), I would take 3rd entering the corner. My problem is that 3rd will run out of RPM at a time when getting off the gas would be bad. 4th also makes it easier to modulate the throttle, though I don't think I need that as much now as when I started driving the GT4. A PDK in T16-18 has a big advantage, probably a 1/2 to a second.

Comparison (red) to previous best (blue). You can clearly see the impact of the cold temps on power in the straights. Pretty much everywhere I was driving at a lower pace...but power made up for it.

Great video, you're really cookin' around COTA haha. A shorter final drive would likely help you hit some low hanging fruit. There are a lot of sections on Sebring where we'd have to use 2nd and ring it out to throw down a hot lap when 3rd would have been preferable but just didn't have the guts to pull out of the apex. The shorter final drive helped a lot with that, allowing us to hold 3rd with the additional low-end thrust to take advantage of and being in a better spot of the powercurve to pull out of the apex.

Looking good Colin! The track was relatively slow this past weekend as well, so there's a chunk of time there. If you'd run the same in November-January when we had some really good track conditions, you'd have thrown down some very impressive lap time haha. You should play some cat and mouse with "robziv", you two would have a heck of time together haha.

That's quite quick on TB, well done! The fastest I went on that track in my Cayman R on street tires was a high 1:33 if I recall correctly. I imagine you'll be deep in the 20's with Hoosiers : )
