Do we have one touch start?

Do we have one touch start?
Haven't tried, but do we have one touch start on our cars? Can we just turn the key all the way and release to get starter going or do we have to hold it there until it starts?
Says something in the manual but not quite clear.

No. We don't. You have to hold the key turned until it starts. There is even a light on the dash that says "HOLD".
I know, it sucks. For a $100k car I would've expected keyless entry and start/stop button. But oh well.

I always thought that Hold indicator on the dashboard was intended to indicate when the Hill Hold feature was working, although as was already noted in another thread, it doesn't ever light up on the GT4 even though it has Hill Hold.

Porsche is behind in this area - even in the Cayenne and other luxury models.
Other VW products have much better keyless entry and push button start.
E.g. Audi has very good features in this area.
I'm surprised Porsche doesn't just use the same tech.
MB is also very good.

For me for 100k I want a real key and keyhole that I have to hold so it starts.
