Crazy Dunlop tire wear
After one track day at Tremblant this is my front right side:
So far so good. This is my front left side:
So it seems the middle just chunked right out. I had this happen after 1 day at Calabogie last year and put it on account that Calabogie is a tire destroying track, but the same happened to me with 2 new front tires at Tremblant yesterday. So I'll be switching to a new brand as I don't think they wear out very well.
Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong? I ran tires at 32psi hot all around with some peaks. They are sticky tires but I can't kill a tire every track day!

What are your camber and sway bar settings in the front?
Based on the tread I can see on the inside of your driver side it looks like you need more a lot camber and try 30psi hot on that side.
Suggest putting street tires on your stock 20" wheels and going to 19" wheels with Bridgestone RE-71R tires. Tire cost will be lower over time (will essentially pay for the 19" rims after a few sets) and the RE-71Rs grip as well or better and last longer. I what I am suggesting myself, and if you search many others on here did as well.
But get more camber as well!

I'm also going to 19in wheels with RE71Rs. That should make track days more cost-effective.

I ran -2.1 camber on my dunlops at lime rock and my wear is similar but not as bad as I didn't chunk/lose the middle rib. I've also got the front sway bar on soft and toe out in the front with toe in on the rear.
I ran ~30psi hot on that tire and ~31-32 on the passenger side. After 3 track days I swapped the passenger side tire to the driver side to balance out the wear.

I had not too dissimilar tyre wear with Cup 2 tyres. As someone posted earlier, the car needs more camber for track use....plus being mid engined I guess it has more weight on the front than one is used to if coming from a 911.

I think pressures have more effect than alignment and swaybars for the center of the tread. I know it sounds low, but I aim for 28psi front hot and it's better. If you're headed to the same track with same tires (or another track that works the same side of the car), rotate your tires left to right (they're non-directional).

I think the guys are right about pressure. Don't let them get up too high. I stared high and adjusted downwards as I was afraid to kill the sidewalls if they were too soft from the get go.
