Default GT4 Build Configurator No Longer Available

With the introduction of the 718 Cayman, the GT4 has disappeared from the model lineup on the Porsche website.

The entire 981 Cayman configurator disappeared, taking the GT4 with it.

How so? You think it can not be re-introduced as a 718 GT4?

Remotely possible, but unlikely (IMO) at least in the short run.

Not for 2 or 3 yrs at least. GT variants are usually introduced at the end of the model life cycle. However the VW debacle may change that timetable.

Same with the GTS version as well. Currently have a 2013 Boxster S. Will hold on to it for another two years and then make a decision to buy a used GT4 or a GT variant if available. Lets hope they make another GT sooner.
