Default First Salvage Title GT4

Did a quick search and was surprised to find nobody one here seems to have noticed this car. Sale took place this afternoon. The sale price defies all logic. What say you guys?

I would normally say 'good find', but my stomach turns seeing this poor baby! We should put the VIN under the registry to alert any future buyer.

Your comment on price defying all logic - you found it too low or high (I assume high)? Tough to say what the damage is, but I would venture a guess and say it has frame damage. Pretty brutal front and rear side hits, suspension is all torn apart, the trunk latch is out of alignment signaling body (and frame is likely bent).

Yes I do mean too high. All fixed up the buyer of this car will easily exceed the base MSRP and by the looks of it this car has few if any optional equipment.

^^Not so sure... doesn't look like any airbags went off, so it couldn't have been that bad. Lots to fix though..
That price is surprisingly high!

Wow, seems massively overpriced. That is a ton of damage.

Isn't that the GT4 that went hot into Turn 1-2 at AAA Speedway and rotated and hit the wall?

Looks like the same car, BH Porsche plates...

I thought the same thing at first, but didn't that car spin around and impact the wall on the right side of the car, rather than the left?

It's hard to say, I was involved in an accident last year in my Cayman S and the air bag didn't go off. However, the front driver strut punctured through the frame. My insurance deemed it "structurally totaled".

At least no one got injured...

If it would of had LWBS I could see maybe $65k. Getting the Carfax on it now.

Over/under before we see it for sale? I will set it at 2 months and take the under.

edit.....Carfax delayed. Brother in-law at lunch.

I'm pretty sure this is the car, I can't find the original thread (deleted??) but I think he hit driver side, I think he hit the inner wall, not outer... going off memory here.

Maybe show up as a vivid car. Part it together for 10k in parts/labor, list it for 80k salvage. i bet it sells.
