Default Vorsteiner Rear Diffuser - GROUP BUY

Their front lip and side skirts atrociously destroys the lines of the car

But their rear diffuser however is pure sex

I don't know how many know, but the rear diffuser on the GT4, is purely cosmetic ?
That does look very nice
Dr Phil wrapped his in CF wrap and it look very nice as well

My personal opinion is that this looks melted, and lacks the crisp lines of the original.
As already noted, wrap it if one likes the CF look.

You might check out the recent Vorsteinner thread in the 991 subform for one buyer's bad experience with this piece. Not saying it's anything more than an anecdote. But it's worth a read given how pricey this thing is.

had vorsteiner pieces when i had my e90 m3 and their fitment is okay not perfect. but given the prices of this pieces, they should have better fitment and customer services.

+1......Great spot for me to chime in.......Vorsteiner has a bad rep with the M3 crowd. Overpriced with sub-standard fitment and not so good after the sell support. I will pass on the group buy...........Phil

That's lame, I might as well wait for a cheap Chinese knockoff if the fitment is no better

I've got a 991 with the diffuser and their "Duck tail spoiler". Honestly, outside the price the pieces fit quite well. And imo suite the 991 rather well.

I would be interested in the group buy for my gt4.

That was one post in an entire thread a few pages in length...and the poster did not go into much detail....and it was his first post on rennlist. A rather odd first post at that.

I must admit to being disappointed that the diffuser is cosmetic. But the Porsche literature admits as much: "The powerful finale is presented by the black rear apron in diffuser look with two centrally positioned tailpipes..."
But of course it would be almost impossible to make it actually work. But since it's cosmetic, why not make the grilles real, instead of solid?
